As we all know, on October 29, 2012 Hurricane Sandy plowed into the New Jersey coastline creating mass devastation to many on the Jersey Shore. Countless residents have lost their homes, personal belongings and unfortunately, loss of lives. Seeing the pictures of the disaster that has come to many and this being my home too, my heart has melted. Knowing that my childhood memories are just in rubble and ruins.
I now live in Boston for work and seeing the photos of Sandy’s wrath, the term Jersey Strong keeps showing up all over the Internets and social media platforms. This has a few of my friends and I thinking we need a movement of strength and reform. Much like Katrina and her devastation in the south, we need that sense of momentum to keep the New Jersey residents strong.
I have designed a logo that I feel represents New Jersey very well. With the statement of Jersey Strong, I feel that using this logo on anything would help remind its residents and those who have been affected by the storm to keep moving forward. To Stay Jersey Strong! This is where I need your help. I need to get the word out about this movement and get it printed on everything! T-Shirts, mugs, stickers, etc… you name it. Print on it!
Staying “Jersey Strong” is what this state needs. My friends and I are offering to help create a movement that will rebuild our homes, shores and our memories of the great state of New Jersey. As Governor Chris Christie stated, “It is time to return life back to normal,” This is how we can do it!
If anyone out there is willing on helping to keep Jersey Strong, Share this with others. Keep the fight going! We willing to work with any organization and or company out there that want to help out. Contact me if you are interested in keeping Jersey Strong.
