Now that the holidays are over and our family and friends have received their gifts, it is time for the big reveal.
This year’s Christmas gift to family and friends are the best of both of our worlds. With her delicious baking skills and my homebrewing, who could complain about a gift you can eat and drink? This year’s Beery Christmas gift features brownies and a spiced holiday “Naughty Ale”.
First, I need to brag about how awesome Christina’s cake pops for her co-workers came out this year. She had a repeat of her famous snowman and reindeer designs but added a new character to the lineup, the abominable snowman “Bumble”. It’s a trio of Christmas awesomeness. Take a look at how these cake pop presents came out.
Now for our Beery Christmas gift which features this season’s homebrew of mine, the Naughty Ale. This spiced holiday ale is low on the IBUs but filled with a kick of spices that pairs well with baking or in a tall pint all on its own. It may be hard to read in the photos so here’s the bottle description:
While the children are nestled and snug in their beds, the taste of nutmeg, ginger and cinnamon dance in this spiced ale’s head. ‘Tis the season to be naughty!
ABV: 5.5% | IBU: 30 | CAUTION: MAY INCREASE CHANCES OF BEING ON THE NAUGHTY LIST.
To complete the perfect pairing, this gift also features a 22 oz. bottle filled with all of the dry ingredients (Sugar, Flour, Cocoa Powder, Salt & Baking Powder). When combined with the wet ingredients, including the Naughty Ale, it bakes into a nice fudgy brownie that our certified testers acclaimed, “The best brownies I’ve ever had. EVER!”
I have included images below of the final packaged gifts. Please comment below and feel free to share with others! Happy belated Holidays every one and a happy New Year!
